Lubuntu, or Ubuntu?

I've never encountered this problem before. Nor have I come across a properly presented case for its occurrence. If you can do so reproducibly, please provide the exact link you used.

It was this link using 32-bit non-torrent. There was also another person who had nearly the same issue and ended up with Xubuntu instead of Lubuntu as per this post.

Don't use the link for Lubuntu on the GetLubuntu page! The direct link on the official Lubuntu site gave me Lubuntu 13.10.
