    ran sudo wine.. whoops

    Alright I ran sudo wine while trying to start a game then read how bad that was. I couldn't find any up to date posts on this issue. Is wine just running at root now? If so, how can I change the permissions back?

    Exit Wine ASAP and don't run it as root in the future.

    This is why Ubuntu requires us to use sudo. The power to modify system files times out after a small delay and we revert back back to being a standard user.
    It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
