    After some searching I found , morse2ascii

    On second thought, it barley works....

    There is one for the smart devices that is Open Source, but you want one on the computer, right?

    Mips, thank you very much for your very helpful list of links. I've examined them, and, as a result, am thinking seriously about trying to revive my long-dormant Morse skills. (Maybe I'll even go so far as to try to reactivate my expired Amateur Radio license.)

    fldigi is a good one as it is a multipurpose sound card modem program. Along with Morse Code, it can also decode RTTY (radioteletype), Weather Fax, PSK, and a host of other tone data modes. It has a lot you can tweak, but runs fairly well out of the box. There is also good online documentation and a healthy user group.
