    Good pdf editor for Linux?

I remember searching around a year ago but couldn't find anything. I think in the end I opted to just use PDF Xchange via wine but was never satisfied with that.

Do either of them allow for both custom bookmarks and note comments?

Libre office Draw can import PDF files. you can then edit them and export as PDF. i am not sure how well it imports them. sometimes it's ok other times i get it all messy.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.

I all I really need to do most of the is annotate pdfs. For that I use the very simple and ultralight app called xournal. It's already in the repositories.

Oh. I had no idea Okular could write Notes. It's hidden under the review tab. I think I tried Master PDF a year ago and couldn't stand a certain aspect of it. Not sure which. I'll check it out again. Xournal I liked as an annotation editor but I much prefer the notes style of annotation as its less cluttered. I think the most annoying feature of Xournal if i remember correctly was the export to PDF function. I really just wanted to have a quick way to save over the PDF. I'll try Xournal again actually since I recently inherited a tablet though. Lastly do any of these options allow note/annotation viewing from other computers. I ask this because I suspect the Okular bookmarks/notes are only viewable within Okular whereas Adobe will save notes and I believe allow them to be viewed with other editors.

Did you guys download the deb at http://code-industry.net/pdfeditor.php ?

I downloaded it and tried to install but it doesn't say "installed" after I'm done via ubuntu software manager. I've also tried via Package installer but i don't see it available in Krunner.

Update: nm i was able to access it via command line. Still okular seems like a more elegant pdf editor but tn hen it's been freezing on me recently. So far Master PDF and PDF Xchange haveb een the only functionally worthwhile ones.

Update2: urgh pdf exchange just crashed when I tried to save a PDF. Also Okular's edits aren't viewable from other PDF editors for whatever reason.
