I want to buy ubuntu edge in India

I am currently having note2 running ubuntu touch on dual boot. I am pretty sure ubuntu edge won't be launched in India. Can i get it from London once its launched and then use vodafone sim card here in India with it? Coz vodafone carrier is also in London. Please suggest me way i want this device at any cost no more samsung plastic crap....even upcoming HTC devices can't match its specs 4gb ram with 128gb storage

Are you asking about this? If so it looks like that project will not being going forward-interesting though.

The Ubuntu Edge project needed funding of $32 million as a minimum to get a production run of about 40,000 units. We needed to pledge to buy a Ubuntu Edge by pledging to pay the price in order to get one. The Ubuntu Edge will not be produced and even if it was being produced only those who pledged and allowed the transfer of the price into the account of the crowd-funding organisation would get one.

So, if the Ubuntu Edge was being manufactured right now for distribution in May or June, you would be too late to buy one. Bookmark this page. It shows where we are now.

But do not expect anything coming even close to the specification of the Ubuntu Edge. Not for the same price as current consumer products.

You know Ubuntu edge was never anything more than an idea right, no phone has these specs either in current production or coming out in the near future.
