So, I've been cheating on Ubuntu, and I hope she'll have me back... At least it was with her ugly step-sister Mint (haha just kidding..), but I'm back to the Buntu! I've been using Ubuntu since 9.10, and some how have just now tried Xubuntu, and oh my my have I been mising out!

Xubuntu is pretty great! I used for a while on my notebook, and loved it. Now I am back to Ubuntu and loving Unity all over again as it is just really fast and works well on this old 2007 hardware.

Yeah I know pirated copy of XP is free, but so is Ubuntu and it's LEGAL!

Xubuntu is also my favourite OS! I thought unity was o.k. and my favourite but damn, xfce >> Unity!

What I hate is that on unity, the horizontal space is lower than on xubuntu. That means that it's easier to read forums and such on unity than on Xubuntu!

I had a flirtation with Mint several years ago when I was first in grad school (2008...? jeez so long ago :/) I ought to give it a go again but I keep getting roped back into *buntu. I think it's the community that sells it for me.
