Ubuntu Crashes while installing - version 13.10

When I installed the ubuntu newly into my system ubuntu crashes.

    This happens when doing partitioning.

    This is a 64 bit 13.10 installation.

I have tried many times i get the same error.

Also I tried ISO on another disk but getting the same error.

But if i install debian everything works correctly.

    Any solutions ?

Re: Ubuntu Crashes while installing - version 13.10

More information would be good; what error are you getting? What sort of partition scheme are you setting up? What kind of hardware?

It's possible this could be due to a disk problem, bad RAM, bad optical drive. The Ubuntu installer uses a lot more resources than the Debian installer, so if you've got a bad RAM sector or if your optical drive gets corrupt reads towards the outside of the disc (just for example), the Ubuntu installer is more likely to encounter this.
