    AfterStep

I've been trying out this lovely window manager but I can't find a beginner guide to it. The looks suit me well, but I need to know:
Setting GTK and Qt widget theme.
Setting a maximize or fullscreen button in the window titlebar.
    Adding new dockapps.
If usable with a compositor for window shadows and tear-free desktop.
Stopping mouse from jumping when activating stuff.
Disabling sloppy focus in favour of click to focus.

I like the aesthetics and the themes. The other window managers like Window Maker and Fluxbox and FVWM look ugly out of the box.
This is my first attempt to learn a window manager that's not an unusable pseudo-DE like Enlightenment or the mainstream DEs that I've grown tired of.
    Thanks for your help.

    You can try FVWM-Crystal also.

It has some preloaded 'receipes', thats what they call them and then u can customize the receipes. Very light WM.

I used AfterStep in my Debian Wheezy set up but didn't have time then to really explore.
