I need to convert a .srt subtitle file to a .ssa because Handbrake cant burn in srt subtitels in videos. How can i do this in Ubuntu ?
Or is there any softwares that hardburn srt files directly into mp4 files?

Take a look at Aegisub. It's the primary tool used by fansubbers. It appears there are ways to import and export subtitle files in various formats.
