    Portable cross-platform browser

    Hi,
I'm looking for a way to use a portable browser from my USB drive on Windows and Linux with the same settings. So basically I would have 2 executables (one for each OS) that use the same config files. Is this possible? What browser would be good for this?

Firefox is portable but it is not cross platform (the Linux and Windows versions are different and only run in the matching OS) I know of nothing that is both portable and cross platform.

I don't need the executables to run on both systems of course, I just need the two versions to use the same format for their config files.

Some dual-booters use the same firefox profile, stored on a shared partition, on both Windows and Linux. It should work.
