    1.7.12 wow crash

    since i updated wine i have started to get this. Its been running fine otherwise.

    fixme:dbghelp_dwarf:dwarf2_parse_subprogram Unhandled Tag type 0x26 at ctx(0x227630,L"libc.so.6"), for debug_info(abbrev:0x10789040,symt:0x10830c2c)

    The crash occurs a few seconds after i log in. It can reproduced at the character selection screen.

    Anyone else getting it ? any ideas on how to fix ?

    there is a glitch with the x64 version of wow. rename your x64 wow executable and make sure you run the x32 version. works then.

    Confirmed workaround. Interesting that the Wow-64.exe file has to be renamed, and that just doing wine "/path/to/wow/Wow.exe" isn't sufficient. Much appreciation for the information.
