    Building a new PC

I'm planning to build a new Desktop PC for myself and of course it has to run Ubuntu. Now I already picked the components but my question is will the configuration work with Ubuntu?

    Case:
    AeroCool PGS Q Series Qs-200
    Motherboard:
    ASUS F2A55-M LK2
    Processor: AMD Athlon X4 740
    SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 60GB
    HDD: WD Blue WD10EZEX 500GB
    Power supply: Antec VP550F 550W
    Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
    Graphics: ASUS Nvidia GT630-2GD3

    Greetings,
    Allard

check the linux hardware compatibility listings.

    or alternatively http://linuxhcl.com/

If your hardware in one of these, then you should be good to go.

It is a little sideways of your question but can I ask if you had considered one of the newer 8 core amd CPUs?
You think that's air you're breathing now?
