Thread: Restore (Backup) cannot find external drive where files are

    Restore (Backup) cannot find external drive where files are

    After re-installing my "/" due to networking issues, I tried to run Backup's "Restore". The Backup options cannot locate my external USB drive where the /home is.

    Also /media does not show the drive (named: TV).
    AMD FX-6300, 8gig ddr3, MSI 970 Gaming, 256G WD blue SSD, GeForce GT710, HP LJ Pro M277-fdw

    This problem seems to resolve itself by cold-booting the external usb hard disk drive.
