I am trying to use VLC 2.0.8 on my laptop running Ubuntu 13.04 as a DLNA client receiving video served from a QNAP NAS with Twonky 7.2.5-2.

The server is streaming to my Playstation 3 and other clients with no problems. However, when I serve the same file to my laptop, the chapters of the video play out of order, the image quality is poor and the video laggy.

If I play the same file on my laptop with VLC via an NFS share it works fine.

Has anyone come across similar? How did you solve it?
