    Invisible date column in gnome-system-log

    Hello gang,

When using gnome-system-log, fonts in column showing date and time are whited out. All other columns are normal. This appears to be only a font colour issue, because if I select the lines with my mouse, they are present and show up in reverse. Also, copying and pasting the rows to any editor is complete with date and time.

Does anyone else see this behaviour? If so, have you fixed it?

    Additional info:

    Ubuntu version 13.10
Standard desktop install with no video tweaks or changes
    Radeon driver
No xorg.conf (using defaults from pristine install)
Invoking from terminal gives no errors

This is not a big issue. Has no impact on system performance or stability. Just irritating because it is difficult to make out precisely when log entries occurred using GUI log viewer.

The same is true in Lubuntu 13.10. In Lubuntu, can be 'fixed' by changing the theme from Lubuntu-default.

Thanks for reply. Just tried the alternate themes and they don't make a difference. Will try further themes later as fancy takes me. If it still doesn't fix, I will report it as a bug in launchpad and not worry any further about it.
