    SSD Raid 0 Installation

    Hello,

I am a long time Ubuntu User on my laptop and I am planning to switch my Main Rig to Ubuntu Soon. I have seen that people have had some problems with this and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with installing on a Raid, Software or Hardware.

    Thanks

For Information, Specs on My Rig are as Follows (not that its really important):

    4 x SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD's RAID 0
    8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz DDR3
    AMD FX 8350 + Corsair H60
    Asus Crosshair V Formula -Z

Don't bother with RAID 0 unless you have a specific need for speed without data redundancy, since if one drive goes out, you lose the whole array.
