add blender to open file // mime type in file manager

    Hi
I forgot how I've added Blender 2.49 in my home to open *.blend files with a click. Now I want to change to blender 2.66, but where the heck
    did I do alike?
It was somewhere in advanced settings...but I forgot.
    Thanks

In blender's .desktop file add %F at the end of the Exec=pathtoblenderexecutable, then right click a .blend file go to Properties > Open with and choose blender as the default.
