Hi, I have an old Dell notebook running 12.04.
I want to use it to play music to my hifi (no Video) but also to be able to receive music from other devices, a Macbook, and iOS devices primarily.
Bottom line: I am having a party with some friends, and if they want to play some music, I want the notebook running something that allows them to play their tunes through the old Dell with your help.

PS: I live out in the woods in, VERY slow internet, therefore it all needs to run through Wifi
PPS: currently looking into Subsonic, Airfoil and Airfoil speakers. and I suck at technology.
