PSS (Professional Security Software) in Wine

I'm trying this in 13.10.

I got the program added, and two icons appeared on the desktop, PSS and PC-NVR. When I click the icon, nothing appears to happen except an instantaneous appearance of the log-in screen. After that, nothing can be found of the program. If I try to start it again, I get a notice that the program is already running - but it CAN'T BE SEEN or found in any way.

If anyone wants to try this, it's located at http://qsee.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/907 , where it says " Smart PSS Software(CLICK HERE to Download) "

Have you checked the app database at WineHQ to see if this software works?

It's not there, but I have a slightly earlier version that does work. However, it came in a package already set up, so I don't know what was done to make it work.
