Please suggest a database or inventory program for Ubuntu 12.04

I need a good (fairly easy to use) database and/or inventory program to use on Ubuntu. Why does the post keep going to this small print? I am vision-impaired and cannot read this well. Thank you for any suggestions.

Open the software center and search for inventory. A few apps in there.

You can always resize the text in web pages by holding down the Ctrl key and using the scroll wheel on the mouse. You can also use Ctrl-Plus and Ctrl-Minus to resize texts.

If not inventory but collections of things, these may work. I have not used either, but others have suggested them.

Collections - music, books, etc: both in repositories
Tellico - qt4 & python, xml for data
    http://tellico-project.org/
Gcstar - perl & gtk, xml for data

Business or commercial "Inventory" should be discussed with your accountant before you begin. There may be reporting, insurance, reconciliation, and adjustment requirements that you will need periodic reports from the software.
