ET Install issue (what's happening?) [Solved]

I've been reinstalling Dapper and all worked well.

As always i wanted to install Enemy Territory.
I did as I always done. Copied it over from an CD i've burned, and i've done this several times. Made it excutable.
Ran install = sudo sh et-linux-2.56-2.x86.run.
To my suprise got a message (in swedish) file or folder dosent exist!
I'm a stubborn son of a dog so I downloaded it from the net (maybe something gone wrong with CD).
Still the same message: file or folder dont exist..
Any clues? ( a couple of days ago installed Breezy, there it went well, mocked up the install, but thats another issue).
So i can rule out hardware faults (i think)
In my line of thinking its a Dapper issue, but all the same i ranned Dapper when it came out, ET installed fine then.
So I guess i need help

Haven't you tried to install it through synaptic/apt-get/aptitude? have you checked that your file isn't corrupted?.

As I stated I've used this file of ET several times.
Also I download fresh copy from the net.
As to my knowledge ET is not available trough synaptic.
    Thanks for your reply..

I have done the same but found that if you run et from the console like this:
    Code:
    sudo et
It find the folders etc. I guess its something to do with the sudo comany at install time.
