Dual booting Dell Inspiron 3521 with Win8.1 and Ubuntu 12.04
Hey guys, so here's my problem. Last night I created a separate partition on my hard drive that now has Ubuntu 12.04 running on it, while my main partition is running windows 8.1. I've done this on old laptops of mine, but those have all been running windows 7 instead, and I've never had any trouble. Now when I boot up my computer I don't know how to boot into the Ubuntu Partition. It used to give me an option on start up of which i would like to boot to, now I don't have that. Both Secure Boot and Fast Boot are currently disabled on the machine and Legacy Boot is enabled. So how can I boot from my Ubuntu Partition? Thanks

Nevermind, I figured it out. I booted off my live CD and then downloaded boot-repair, ran recommended settings and GRUB is working fine again.
