For quite some time now, I've noticed strange behavior with the trackpad on my Asus X501A. At first, I thought it was *somehow* related to Windows, even though that didn't make sense; I noticed after my wife used the Windows install and then I would log-in to use Ubuntu, the trackpad would be *ridiculously* sensitive... practically unusable. I uninstalled/reinstalled all Asus drivers and even tried to let Windows just choose its own without luck.

Yesterday, I think there was a breakthrough: the link isn't with Windows, but with being plugged-in! When the laptop is plugged into the AC source, the trackpad is insanely sensitive and when it's just running on battery power, everything's fine.

Anyone else ever see anything like this?
