Factory Reset of Computer on Ubuntu

On Windows, you'd tap [F11] key, go to System Restore >> Factory Reset. I have Ubuntu installed on my laptop, how do I still do this?

You stick your LiveUSB or LiveDVD in the appropriates slot and click "Install Ubuntu." Just like the first time you installed it.
Be sure to backup any data you want to preserve; the reinstall will overwrite it.

Ubuntu does not have a recovery partition on your hard drive to restore from.
Most problems with Ubuntu can be fixed. Reinstalls (Restores) are fairly rare.
