I'm seeing a few threads in which users have accumulated quite a few old kernels to the point that /boot is full (if I understand correctly). Here is the most recent example: /boot is 100% full, unable to remove any kernel images
Does this happen because neither the Ubuntu Software Center nor Synaptic prompt users that there are older kernels and that these can be removed?
If both USC and Synaptic are considered "GUIs" for apt-get, then why is this feature not present? I use the CLI route and am regularly prompted about older kernels.
