Linux Mint 13 User Interface help

I need help with the Linux Mint 13 graphic user interface. I am using the Cinnamon interface. When I minimize windows they disappear. I found a fix for it a while ago but I forgot what it is. Can anyone help?

You are likely to get more help if you can post it on Linux Mint Forums.

Or have you installed Cinnamon on Ubuntu?

Mint has just released the Cinnamon 2 backport for Mint 13. Perhaps installing that is worth a try?

Click on Menu -> System Settings -> Preferences -> Windows, and then examine the settings options available to you under the Windows window.
