Advice for Chrubuntu on recent Acer C710 with the faster Intel CPU and SSD

I just got my new Chromebook:

Acer C710-10072G01ii 29,5 cm Chromebook (Intel Celeron 1007U, 1,5GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB SSD, Intel graphcs)

So, it is the latest Acer C710 with the faster Intel CPU and SSD (not the one with the 320 HB HD), but not the C720.

I plan to upgrade using Chrubuntu. The new C710 seems to fall between the old C710 and the latest C720.

Do I follow the advice on:
    http://chromeos-cr48.blogspot.com/20...em-all_31.html ?

    Any advice before I start?

    Additional point:

The Intel Celeron 1007U is Ivy Bridge based, not Haswell, which is used in the chip in the ACER 720.

I have also found this post:

It looks good, but I have a later C7 model.
