    Boot DOS from GRUB 2

    Hi

I've succesfully installed MS-DOS 7.1 next to Windows 7 on a modern PC, following this guide:

    http://www.thpc.info/dual/7/install_dos710_on_win7.html

I can boot MS-DOS from a Super GRUB disk without problem; when I select Detect any OS, MS-DOS is found and is bootable.

I ve even installed Windows 3.1 on top of it with a quick patch.Altought I use VMware quite often, I just wanted to see if this was possible at all, since DOS is very basic.

No sound and probably wont ever have, but its actually funny to see it working.
I just cant boot from DOS directly, without booting from a Super GRUB disk.

I booted in Ubuntu, and ran sudo update-grub, but MS-DOS 7.1 is not found.Have not been able to succesfully boot DOS from the Windows 7 bootloader as well. I feel like booting the OS from GRUB should be possible, since Super GRUB Disk is actually capable of detecting and booting it.

Here's a screenshot of my partition table:

    Can anyone help please?
Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
