Steam for ubuntu not running after updating to 13.10

So, I click on steam it will run. When I click on any game it will start loading normally, but then as it about to run game will crash and I'm back on steam window. No error nothing. e.g. I'll click on Team Fortress and then I try to connect to some server, it will start downloading server info and all but as it is about to finish that instead of running game, it will just crash.

try to run steam from a terminal window so you can see what it outputs when it crashes
