Ffmpeg

Is there somewhere to download ffmpeg that isn't through the software center, or terminal, or synaptic package manager? I can only go to webpages since clockworkmod tether will only work with them.

you could use a standalone static FFmpeg build that you just run from extracted folder

Hi mcgillcarpenter if you have a terminal you can downlod kdenlive with it by typing
sudo apt-get update enter then sudo apt-get install kdenlive in the terminal
which will also install ffmpeg and xine vidio player. or you can get the tarball from there site.
and extract it and compile it on your system.

Nope, never mind. It didn't download. Didn't think it would. Thank you though.
