Hi all i m using Picasa 3 via Wine

Hi all i m using Picasa 3 via Wine
Installation and all worked fine
now its installed and i want to mail people a link but this doesn t work
each time picasa gives me the Login to Google link but there it freezes....
Does nt matter what i do i simply cannot connect to my google account
no real errormessage it just hangs at google login

Any suggestions on this as without upload and download options to the internet Picasa is worthless to me..

You want to mail people a link to what?

Running picasa on your computer is not the same as uploading pictures to picasaweb, so I don't understand what you are trying to do.

a fotoalbum

I m making a Google site and want to add Pics with Picasa,,

But i can t sign in using my google account from Picasa on my ubuntu machine...

I use wine for this

OK, I see but can not tell you how to solve your problem other than perhaps trying a different photo manager, most of which will offer you the chance to upload to picasaweb albums.

Have a look at gthumb, f-spot, shotwell, or my favourite digikam, which I use on gnome even though it is a KDE based application, all of which can be used for that as far as I'm aware.
