After fresh install to 13.10 (ServP7) Suspend issues

I can't seem to return from suspend. The screen is completely white with color artifacts (squares, etc). Sometimes it'll logout to the lightdm screen but upon logging in results in a black screen. Also if you wait /long enough/ the white screen becomes a black screen. In this regard, the mouse is visible when in the black screen, but there is nothing else...

Using proprietary drivers
Installed the system76 drivers

Is there something I'm missing here...

Try it from a new live disk. I'm thinking that your installation ended up corrupt.
