Share speakers?

is there a possible way to share my Dad's speakers if we are both connected to one router and running linux (he's on Puppy and I am dual-booting winXp and ubuntu).

I know you can share files and printers when connected to one router (In our connection that works), but I was wondering if I could play a song or youtube video and hear it from he's speakers (two giants, while I have some dwarfs).


I mean he doesen't really need that huge speakers, he needs he's plazma that's ok but the speaker's are my sisters and she plays songs from my PC when I am away (for obvious reasons)

I wouldn't approach this as a software problem.
Buy a small mixer (google Monitor Mixer) and some cables.
