I have a Sword Master x9 mouse with a "fire key" that, according to xev, simulates three mouse button 1 clicks (including both presses and releases). I want to make the button to function like normal mouse button that I can bind to certain actions in games. Is there a way to disable this multi-click feature? I think the problem is that xev, as well as other similar input tests, think that this "fire key" has the same ID as button 1 (the difference being that one "fire key" click equals three button 1 clicks).
