    Ubuntu Touch Nexus 7 3G

    Hello,

I know there are plenty of posts about how to get Ubuntu touch running on the nexus 7 3G but I couldn't find an answer to my problem. I tried to follow the following tutorial http://askubuntu.com/questions/35616...ilapia-nakasig.

However I fail right from the beginning.

    Code:
    http://askubuntu.com/questions/356169/how-to-start-ubuntu-touch-on-nexus-7-3g-tilapia-nakasig
    returns

    Code:
    trusty-preinstalled-system-armel+grouper.img: no Android Magic Value
trusty-preinstalled-system-armel+grouper.img: not a valid Android Boot Image.

therefore I fail to edit bootimg.cfg and run in to the expected error. Is there a way to solve this problem or do I have to wait for offical support? I don't use my Nexus 7 for my daily business so I can play arround a bit.

    thanks alot,

    Tobias

Re: Ubuntu Touch Nexus 7 3G

    Hi,
Check back the same tutorial, there's an answer correcting the image to be edited (not system but boot).
I was able to correct it with abootimg.
(That doesn't mean I was able to get Ubuntu Touch on my tilapia)
