Okay, so a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I tried installing Ubuntu. Of course, what should've been an easy install, was met with errors. So much that I gave up out of frustration only to revisit it recently. I'm on a MacBook Pro, 7.1, trying 12.04.3.
So today, I finally was able to boot into the disk, and chose to try it before, in case of any errors. So I went to install the additional drivers I was informed of by a little notification window, and chose to activate the "Broadcom STA Wireless Driver."
The driver attempted to install, only to be met with this error:
"Sorry, the installation of this driver failed.
Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/jockey.log"
IIRC, this same thing happened last time I installed. I actually managed to hunt down the file, and pastebinned the whole thing to my Windows PC and into a notepad file here.
If anyone could lend me a hand here. I'd appreciate it. I'm a big Linux/Ubuntu Noob
