How to install set up WINe, install a game and then play it?

Uh oh. I ventured into the territory that is "WINe" and found out that it is a little bit difficult for me. I wanted to install a windows game, Tiberian Sun, so I installed wine and then got stuck. Could someone help me please?

Not sure if this will help http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ I need to read through to try to figure out if I can get some old MoH games working. The only thing I have had success with to date is the demo of AoE. Good luck!

The link is to the WineHQ app ratings page for that game: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...cation&iId=176

You need to read through the testing results for the version you're using to see if anything there helps.

Exactly. Find the executable that you want to run and right click and choose Wine (if not already the default) and the file will run... if it is the installer just follow the prompts and see how it goes. (The easy way would be to use Play on Linux that is also available in the Software Centre but I don't see a POL for this specific title (only for the expansions...)
