Me and my stupidity... I always run root terminal on my AMD64 Kali Linux Debian flavor.
Earler today a friend of mine played a little prank on me and launched some "shellcode" (troll move just encoding rm -r /*) into hex, on my system. That pretty much deleted every file inside ' / '
Now I cannot even turn on my computer. How can I recover my OS? It takes me directly to grub rescue>
I would like to keep my old files. Is there any professional method that can be used to just copy new /bin, /usr, /etc .. into my current fs, so that I can boot? I REALLY don't want to go through installing the wireless driver again!
