No. AskUbuntu is a community support site, like ubuntuforums.org.
But more Canonical staff post there and at http://ubuntu-discourse.org/, AFAICT.
It is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers.
Visit the following web page : http://askubuntu.com/about
Moved to Cafe.
Each site handles different types of questions and discussion.
If I am asking/answering specific technical questions about Ubuntu, developer input is helpful.
If I am asking/helping individual users troubleshoot common or obvious problems, developer input does not add value.
I think that the number of Canonical staff on each site is not a very relevant metric.
Both are useful sites.
Thanx for the info. Reason I asked is because when I search Google for answer to problem before posting here I usually get directed to askubuntu first, then this site appears further down the list of hits. Just wandering how good they were.
