Stuck at boot screen

Your graphics is failing to start. What video card do you have? Also if you press ctrl-alt-f1 do you get a console login screen?

I'm not sure what a console screen looks like, but I found out what video card I use (I think) NVIDIA Geforce 320M.

console is when u press Ctrl+alt+f1 u will see some like Greg@greg-pc:Logon_

on my computer i try go to safe mode and to shell and unisntall video driver (nvidia as well), but cant fix that problem coz that terminal saying read only
