world of tanks problems

hello there. first of all im noob in ubuntus i using ubuntu 12.04.3 and have problem installing wot(world of tanks). ok here is problem playonlinux done almost everything for me left just run launcher and update game files. then i run game launcher starting dowload game files after while i getting critical error. World of Tanks - Critical Error _ An unhandled exception is occured. The application will be restarted. if i choose OK launcher is restarted and starting download files again. and like this is over and over. please anyone help

looks like this is not wine or playonlinux problem. i turn off torrent in launcher settings, seems helped (but sure 100% coz still downloading) yes! download complete! just need turn off torrent in launcher settings.

There is a simple solution, this error comes up while downloading the updates. To avoid it, open the World of Tanks launcher, and top right corner there will be a little key icon. Click it and untick the use torrent icon. Download should then proceed with no errors. Could take a little more time as torrent will be disabled, but worked fine for me.

Just had that problem also, went back to the old winetricks that needed to be installed (see WineHQ), now it is downloading again and you can deselect the torrent options.

On the top right corner there is the X button

after that the minimise.

After that a tool (I dont know the name in English )

Click on that and a window will appear that allows you via a checkbox to select if you want to use torrents downloading.

Uncheck it
