    Question Cool stuff to do in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit?

    Just wondering what cool stuff I can do in Ubuntu, maybe something with command lines or programming...

    Depends on what you think is cool. It's an operating system, it can run programs. Linux is a great platform for programming, so if you like that you chose well. Just state your interests.

    I do my programming under an AC vent. Is that cool enough?

    If you are interested in science take a look a the science related apps. Or there's astronomy app celestia.

    Have a browse in the software center or synaptic package manager.
