    Vokoscreen recordings play back fast

Hi guys, in my quest to find a decent screen recording software i've tried kazam and vokoscreen. Kazam seems to work but has a lot of overhead and find my recordings suffer due to having enough power in my computer to play the game (Bastion, Portal, SS3 BFE) AND record it at a decent FPS like 24. I tried Vokoscreen, set it to record a 1280x720 window and it records but when I play back the file it's in fast motion whereas when I use kazam it's in slow motion like frames are dropped. Very weird, anyone experience similar issue with Vokoscreen?

i use simplescreenrecorder which is really decent for my use!

it does not have support for using your webcam as a facecam though but everything else is really easy to use with little overhead!

To get support for mp4 and mp3 you need to run this
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install libavformat-extra-53 libmp3lame0
which will replace libavformat53 and also install libmp3lame0

it would also not be a bad idea to install ffmpeg too!

PS: the image on the persons homepage is old, the newest version uses pulse

can you use this software to stream what you're recording to twitcth.tv or justin.tv or ustream or similar sites or does it just save the file locally? Can it record audio from a microphone as well as the game audio? Thanks, i'll check it out
