I would like to move the lightdm greeter window, which at present opens in the center in Xubuntu. I have looked in the lightdm.conf but I can't seem to find any thing in there tweaking which I could move the greeter window around.

Has anyone found a workaround?

It would be nice feature to have by default. There is a feature request (Bug report actually) at Lauchpad:

It would be nice if intrested folks can add themselves in with request.

Meanwhile it would be really great if a workaround is there to work with.
