Brother MFC-7460DN on Ubuntu 13.04, 64 Bit

I'm running Ubuntu 13.04, 64 Bit.

I'm having trouble installing my Brother MFC-7460DN printer. I've searched the forums and followed a lot of directions but still no success. Actually, it looks like it's installed, but it doesn't actually print anything. Job #21 below is the 21st job to not actually print anything. Please help me resolve this problem.

+1 I don't recall this ever failing. It takes care of the 64 bit issues invisibly.

Edit: I'd been using the 1.xxx installer, I just downloaded the 2.xxxx version and did a 'dry run'. It does appear improved. I have an networked MFC-7820N. I went as far as pushing "y" to install then aborted the process. It did offer to installer the scanner drivers as well as the printer drivers. Version 1 did nothing about scanner function.
