    13.10 Upgrade Dash/Lens/Scopes not working

    Hi ,

    I've just upgraded to 13.10 from 13.04

Mostly all working , but the main unity lens search isn't working at all. No results obtained. I only really want the applciation and file finder working. I have internet search results turned off in privacy settings.

    I've cleared out ~/.cache/

    Any suggestions?

Also - the startup manager. Has this been removed in 13.10?

    Thanks in advance.

I just installed unity-scopes-master-default and all seemed to start working.

Startup Manager? Or Startup Applications Preferences. Look for Startup Applications. But do not expect it to do much. Names are changing and modifications through GUI are being restricted. Which is why you will not find Startup Applications in System Settings.
