Question Software replacements? (bluestacks and greenshot)

i was wondering if bluestacks and greenshot have linux alternitives.

i use bluestacks for android emulation (with camera support, sound, and notifications)
i use greenshot for quick screenshots (hotkey to activate selection of screen then auto-save to pc and upload to imgur and copy link to clipboard)

does anyone know of any software that can do this? i have tried a few but im mostly confused on installation via the terminal as i'm a noob and am used to .exe files.

You mean you have already tried Genymotion (helpful post here) and Shutter (website here)?

shutter is not capable of uploading instantly, you have to click through menus and select upload, i did find a program called nanoshot but i am having problems getting it to work. i'm looking into genymotion now ill give an update once ive tried it out.

Hey guys, I'm also looking for an alternative to Greenshot.

In particular, I liked the highligh feature, which allowed me to draw a rectangle, and after I released the mouse button, everything outside that rectangle would be blurred.

    Hightlight area functionality

Do you guys know which screenshot app can do this in ubuntu?
