In order to find out what NIC your computer has you can run this command to find out-
I didn't have a NIC so I had to purchase one and install it on my motherboard-
lspci | grep -i network
To find out what Network Ethernet is on your motherboard you can run:
If you want more information including your processor and graphics card you can run:
lspci | grep -i -color 'network|ethernet
You should be able to if your Internet provider is providing you with a DSL line. Or some other type of wired line.
I have tried but I'm assuming that i will be able to connect via Ethernet cord and download necessary drivers etc..
Other wise you may have a wireless modem- or wireless router-
I can't provide you with the website to the drivers until I know what NIC or Ethernet card you have-
please post where i can find all the drivers and programs to really improve this machine.
