    I think it's somewhere in the Privacy settings, to do with how locking is handled.

    Top panel, far right side: Click on the rather small triangle/arrow. A dropdown panel will display. Click on the screwdriver/wrench icon in the bottom left corner, "Settings" should open. (It's a bit crashy here. After all, it's still an alpha, with final release almost 2 months off.)

    The "Privacy" setting will expose a screen lock toggle. The "Power" setting will expose a screen dimming toggle and an option to avoid screen blanking.

    @buzzingrobot

    Wow thanks alot, that did it, I thought I looked in all those settings ??? Must have missed it.

    The 64b im on now is real slow and jerky but the other 32bit version runs smooth and faster, hmmm?

    Oh well like you said Alpha! Thanks again for the help.

    Excellent.

    I'm using the 64-bit on a ThinkPad with the Intel video. It's been remarkably smooth for this stage of the game. Should be an excellent release.

    Re: Fedora 20 Alpha screen saver

    When I first installed it there was a choice at login to run mutter-wayland but it didn't start, just went back to login and after a couple updates the choice was gone ?

    I wonder if Fedora gave up on wayland/weston ? Kinda like to see it take off...

    Wayland and Fedora: http://blogs.gnome.org/mclasen/2013/...and-in-fedora/.

    Check the comments for the Wayland option in GDM going away with an update.
