This package was on tonights updates. Since installing it I kept getting "Access Control" windows popping up asking for (and denying) gmail password. Eventually I had to clear out all my config files to get rid of it. I can't confirm that this package is at fault, but it looks suspicious and I wanted to alert the community so others may be aware that something is wrong... Only seems to be a problem if you have a gmail account set up in online accounts, my netbook didn't and it's had no problems.

I had the same problem exactly, but later updates have fixed the problem. You might give Saucy another run with the updates and see how it does.
